Training & Classes

Our twice a month Group Riding Class (Saturday in the Park) runs throughout the season. We've also hosted stand alone tire changing and hill climbing clinics (some free, some low cost), and offer training as needed for members who want to become ride leaders.

All details for any scheduled classes or clinics will be found on the paid members Facebook group.

For those who are new to riding in a group, or if you just want to become familiar with how our club operates, we hold an introductory class twice monthly through the spring/summer riding season. We call the class “Saturday in the Park”.

Class is held, weather permitting, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month starting in April. We meet at Tamaques Reservation in Westfield at 8:30 AM in the “main” parking lot by the tennis courts.

We spend the first 30 minutes covering what you need to know in order to ride safely in a group.

Following that, we’ll go out on a D-level ride (12–15-mile route, aiming for 13 mph in the flats with a 10-12 mph overall average speed).

Details for each session, including cancellations notices if needed, will be posted on our Facebook group 1 to 2 days prior to the event.

Helmets are required!
