Riding in a group is fun, rewarding, and a great way to make new friends, but there are some things you need to know to ride safely and comfortably with others. If you’re new to group riding, or just want more practice, our class is a good way to get started.
This class is free and open to all members of All On Cycle Club. Yearly membership is only $20, and gives you access to club rides at any level. Members are also covered under our insurance while on official club rides.
To become a member sign up though BikeReg.com or use the “Register” button at the top of this page.
Training classes are on 1st and 3rd Saturdays, from April through August, at Tamaques Park in Westfield. We meet at 8am in the main parking lot by the Tennis Courts. The first 30 minutes covers rules of the road, verbal & hand signals, rider safety, and etiquette. Afterward we head out on the road for a short 12-15 mile practice ride at a D pace (13 mph in the flats, 11-12 mph average).
All club rides are dependent on the weather. Join the All On Cycling Club of New Jersey Facebook Group and check ride announcements on Facebook before each ride to make sure there are no cancellations.
